Per non cadere preda del suo fiato tremendo Ercole trattenne il respiro. Scopr\u00ec per\u00f2 che dal moncherino di ogni testa tagliata ne spuntavano istantaneamente altre due. Ebbe quindi un’illuminazione, e chiese aiuto al nipote Lolao: mentre Ercole tagliava le teste, Lolao dava fuoco al sangue della ferita, cicatrizzandola in modo che le teste non potessero ricrescere. L’ultima testa tuttavia era immortale e non serv\u00ec nemmeno il suo nuovo stratagemma. Allora seppell\u00ec la testa e il corpo sotto un masso enorme.<\/p>\n
Ercole bagn\u00f2 la punta delle frecce nel sangue dell’idra, altamente velenoso, per rendere le ferite inflitte da esse inguaribili. Un’accidentale puntura con una di tali frecce provoc\u00f2 atroci sofferenze a Chirone, centauro amico e insegnante di Ercole, che essendo immortale non poteva morire e, per porre fine al tormento, don\u00f2 la propria immortalit\u00e0 a Prometeo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
